Welcome to The Itinerant Flâneur! These Terms apply to purchases made through The Flâneur Archive store operated by The Itinerant Flâneur.
The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to The Itinerant Flâneur. We operate this store and website, including all related tools, content, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”), powered by Shopify.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Services. Please read them carefully. By accessing our site or purchasing from our store, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use or access our Services.
SECTION 1 – ACCESS AND ACCOUNT
You must be the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use our Services or have the permission of a legal guardian. You agree to provide accurate, current information when using our store. You’re responsible for your account activity and security. Account credentials must not be transferred or sold.
SECTION 2 – OUR PRODUCTS
We strive to present products as accurately as possible, but colors and appearance may vary depending on your screen. We do not guarantee that items will appear or perform exactly as expected. Products, prices, and availability are subject to change or discontinuation at our discretion. Many Archive pieces are produced after ordering as part of our made-to-order fulfillment process.
SECTION 3 – ORDERS
Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance. Orders are only confirmed once we process your payment and send confirmation. We reserve the right to cancel or modify orders at any time. For details on cancellations or returns, refer to our Refund Policy.
You represent that purchases are for personal use and not for resale.
SECTION 4 – PRICES AND BILLING
Prices may change without notice. All charges, including shipping, taxes, and duties, will be listed at checkout. You agree to provide accurate payment and billing info and authorize us to charge your selected method. You’re responsible for keeping this information up to date.
SECTION 5 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Shipping timelines are estimates only. Once your order is transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery timing is outside our control. However, if your package arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us and we’ll assist. See our Shipping Policy for full details.
SECTION 6 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on our site, including graphics, text, logos, and branding, is owned or licensed by The Itinerant Flâneur. Archive collection names, typography treatments, and original designs are part of The Flâneur Archive brand identity and may not be reproduced without permission. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
SECTION 7 – OPTIONAL TOOLS
We may provide access to third-party tools on an "as-is" basis with no warranties or endorsements. Use of these tools is at your own risk and governed by the third-party provider’s terms.
SECTION 8 – THIRD-PARTY LINKS
We may include links to third-party content or websites. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or purchases made through them. Use them at your discretion.
SECTION 9 – RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
While our store is hosted on Shopify, all purchases are made directly with The Itinerant Flâneur. Shopify does not manage or fulfill orders placed through our store.
SECTION 10 – PRIVACY POLICY
Use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Because our store is hosted on Shopify, Shopify also collects and processes certain personal data. Please review both policies for details.
SECTION 11 – FEEDBACK
Any feedback you submit (suggestions, reviews, comments) may be used by us in any way without compensation. You must have rights to the content you submit, and it must not violate any laws or third-party rights.
SECTION 12 – ERRORS, INACCURACIES AND OMISSIONS
Occasionally, there may be errors in product listings or information. We reserve the right to correct them and to cancel orders if needed.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States. Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate courts located in Illinois. You agree to submit to that venue for legal proceedings.

Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted here. Continued use of the Services means you accept the revised Terms.
